Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We strongly recommend hiring a certified professional for installation. Warranty coverage does not include issues arising from improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, many of our appliances can be operated in power outage situations. Consult your local dealer for more details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces utilize electricity from a standing pilot for operation, whereas electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, which can be house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Our units operate using millivolts or low voltage, and most Wi-Fi thermostats require 24 volts, making them incompatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
A rating plate is affixed to the valve of your appliance, providing model and serial number details.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox and an insert
- Fireplaces are designed for installation in a framed opening allowing for specified clearances to combustible materials.
- Fireboxes are similar to fireplaces but require a burner and logs to complete the unit.
- Inserts are intended for installation in existing wood-burning fireplaces that adhere to construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
By locating your rating plate, the serial number will indicate the age of the unit. The first two digits signify the year of manufacture, and the next two digits indicate the week of that year it was built.
