FAQs
Can I install the fireplace myself
It is recommended to have a certified professional install all our units, as issues from improper installation are not covered under warranty.
Does the product work during a power outage
Yes, most of our appliances can operate during a power outage. Please consult a local dealer for more details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces utilize electricity from a standing pilot, whereas electronic ignition fireplaces depend on a power source, which can be from household voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Our units are designed to function with millivolt or low voltage, so they are not compatible with most Wi-Fi thermostats, which use 24 volts.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The model and serial number can be found on the rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What distinguishes a fireplace, firebox, and insert
- Fireplaces are built to be installed in a framed opening with specific clearance requirements.
- Fireboxes also fit into framed openings and require a burner and log set to complete the installation.
- Inserts are specifically designed to fit within existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
How can I determine the age of my unit
The serial number on your rating plate indicates the age; the first two digits signify the manufacturing year (21, 20, 19), while the next two indicate the week it was produced.
