Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We highly recommend hiring a certified professional for installation to ensure safety and compliance. Warranty will not cover issues arising from improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, most appliances can be used during a power outage. Please consult your local dealer for details.
What is the difference between millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces utilize electricity generated by a standing pilot, whereas electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, which can be house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Our units operate using millivolts or low voltage, making them incompatible with most Wi-Fi thermostats that require 24 volts.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The model and serial number are located on a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are meant for framed openings with clearances to combustibles. Fireboxes resemble fireplaces but include a burner and logs. Inserts are designed to fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
To find out the age of your unit, refer to the serial number on your rating plate. The first two digits indicate the year of manufacture and the next two digits represent the week of production.
