Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
It is highly recommended to have a certified professional install all units to ensure proper performance and warranty coverage.
Does our product work during a power outage
Most appliances are designed to function during power outages; consult your local dealer for details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces utilize electricity from a standing pilot, whereas electronic ignition fireplaces rely on a power source, which may be household or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
The units typically operate on millivolts or low voltage, so most Wi-Fi thermostats using 24 volts will not be compatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
Look for a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance to locate the model and serial number.
What is the difference between a fireplace, firebox, and insert
- Fireplaces are built into a framed opening with specific clearance requirements.
- Fireboxes are similar to fireplaces but require a burner and logs to be complete.
- Inserts are installed into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet specific construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The serial number on the rating plate can identify the age of your unit; the first two digits indicate the year of manufacture, and the next two indicate the week of that year.
