Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I install my fireplace myself
We recommend hiring a certified professional for installation, as improper installation may void your warranty.
- Does the fireplace work during a power outage
Yes, many of our units can function without power. Please consult a local dealer for specifics.
- What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces operate on energy from a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces rely on a power source such as household or battery voltage.
- Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Most Wi-Fi thermostats require 24 volts, which are not compatible with our low-voltage or millivolt-operated units.
- Where can I find my model and serial number
The model and serial number are located on a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
- Can you provide the age of my unit
Check the rating plate; the first two digits of the serial number indicate the manufacturing year.
