What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are designed for installation into framed openings with specific clearance to combustibles. Fireboxes also need a burner and logs. Inserts fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces meeting structural standards.
How can you tell how old my unit is
The serial number on the rating plate indicates the age of your unit, with the first two digits denoting the year of manufacture and the following two digits representing the week of that year.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
