Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We highly recommend having a certified professional install all of our units to avoid any issues during installation. Warranty does not cover improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, most of our appliances are designed to function during power outages. Check with a local dealer for more information.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces use electricity generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces rely on external power sources, including house and battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Our units operate on millivolts or low voltage. Most Wi-Fi thermostats use 24 volts and are not compatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The model and serial number can be found on a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are installed into framed openings with specific clearance to combustibles. Fireboxes are similar but require a burner and logs to complete the unit. Inserts fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet all construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The first two digits of your serial number indicate the year of manufacture, while the following two digits show the week it was built.
