Millivolt fireplaces operate using electricity generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces depend on a power source, such as house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Our units are designed for millivolt or low voltage operation. Most Wi-Fi thermostats use 24 volts, which are not compatible with our fireplaces.
Where can I find my model and serial number
Your model and serial number can be found on a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are meant for new installations; fireboxes require a burner and logs; inserts fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces meeting construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The serial number on your rating plate indicates the manufacturing date; the first digits represent the year and the following two indicate the week of production.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
