Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
It is highly recommended to have all units installed by a certified professional to avoid any warranty issues from improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, most appliances can be used during power outages. For further details, please check with your local dealer.
What is the difference between millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces operate using power generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, which could be either house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Our units function on millivolt or low voltage, so most Wi-Fi thermostats, which are typically 24 volts, will not be compatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance contains the model and serial number information.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
- Fireplaces are installed in framed openings with specific clearance standards.
- Fireboxes require a burner and logs in addition to being installed like fireplaces.
- Inserts fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The serial number on your rating plate indicates the unit's age. The first two digits represent the manufacturing year, while the next two indicate the week of that year the unit was created.
