Millivolt fireplaces generate electricity from a standing pilot for operation. Electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, which can include house voltage or battery voltage.

Our units operate on millivolt or low voltage, making them incompatible with most Wi-Fi thermostats which typically use 24 volts.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate attached to your appliance's valve contains the model and serial number information.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are designed for installation into framed openings with specific combustibles clearance. Fireboxes are similar but require a burner and logs. Inserts are made to be fitted into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The serial number on the rating plate will indicate the year of manufacture with the first two digits, while the following two digits identify the week of production.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
