FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
It is highly recommended that a certified professional install all units, as warranty coverage will not apply to issues resulting from improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Most of our appliances can operate during power outages. Please consult your local dealer for details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces rely on electricity generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, which can include house or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Units are designed for operation using millivolts or low voltage. Most Wi-Fi thermostats operate on 24 volts and are therefore incompatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The model and serial number can be found on a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are designed for installation into a framed opening with specific clearances. Fireboxes are similar but require a burner and log set to complete. Inserts are designed for installation into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
To determine the age of your unit, check the rating plate. The first two digits of the serial number denote the year of manufacture, while the next two digits indicate the week of manufacture.
