Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We suggest having a certified professional install all our units to avoid any warranty issues linked to improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, most appliances are designed to function even during a power outage. Check with a local dealer for more detailed information.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces generate electricity from a standing pilot for operation, whereas electronic ignition fireplaces depend on an external power source, such as household or battery power.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Units are designed to operate with millivolt or low voltage systems. Most Wi-Fi thermostats use 24 volts, making them incompatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
Your appliance's rating plate, attached to the valve, will display the model and serial number.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are installed in framed openings with specific clearance requirements. Fireboxes are similar but require a burner and log set. Inserts are designed to fit into existing, compliant wood-burning fireplaces.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The serial number found on the rating plate provides age information. The first two digits indicate the year of manufacture, while the next two identify the week of production.
