What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces use the power generated by a standing pilot to operate, while electronic ignition fireplaces rely on an electrical source, which can be either house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Our units operate on millivolts or low voltage, meaning most Wi-Fi thermostats using 24 volts will not be compatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
Your model and serial number can be found on the rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox and an insert
Fireplaces are built to fit within a framed opening adhering to specific clearance requirements for combustibles. Fireboxes are similar but require a burner and logs to complete the unit. Inserts install into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet established construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The rating plate will provide the serial number, where the first two digits indicate the year of manufacture and the next two digits denote the week of that year that the unit was built.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
