Product FAQs
Can I purchase a fireplace online and install it myself
It is highly recommended to have all our units installed by a certified professional to avoid any issues not covered under warranty due to improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, many of our appliances can operate during a power outage. Please consult a local dealer for detailed information.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces run using electricity generated by a standing pilot flame, while electronic ignition fireplaces depend on a power source that can be either household current or battery-operated.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Our products are designed to operate on millivolt or low-voltage systems; most Wi-Fi thermostats utilize 24 volts and are not compatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate, located on the valve of your appliance, contains your model and serial number information.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox and an insert
- Fireplaces are constructed to fit into framed openings with specific clearance requirements.
- Fireboxes are similar but require a burner and set of logs to complete the unit.
- Inserts are designed to be used in existing wood-burning fireplaces that comply with building standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
To find out the age of your unit, refer to your rating plate. The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture, while the following two digits represent the week of that year it was built.
