Our units are designed for millivolt or low voltage operation. Most Wi-Fi thermostats require 24 volts and are not compatible.

The model and serial number are located on a rating plate attached to the appliance valve.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are designed for installation in a framed opening with specific clearance requirements. Fireboxes function similarly but require a burner and set of logs. Inserts are meant for installation into existing wood-burning fireplaces that comply with construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture, while the following two indicate the week of that year.
