Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
It is highly recommended to have a certified professional install our units. Warranty does not cover issues from improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage?
Yes, most of our appliances are designed to function during power outages. Please consult with a local dealer for specifics.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces use electricity generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require an external power source, which may include house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Our units operate on millivolt or low voltage. Most Wi-Fi thermostats use 24 volts, making them incompatible with our appliances.
Where can I find my model and serial number
Your appliance's rating plate is attached to the valve and contains the model and serial number information.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox and an insert
- Fireplaces are made to be installed in a framed opening with specific clearance requirements.
- Fireboxes are similar to fireplaces but require a burner and a set of logs to complete the unit.
- Inserts are intended to fit into an existing wood-burning fireplace that complies with all construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
To determine your unit's age, check the rating plate. The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture, and the following two digits signify the week of production.
