Product FAQs
Is installation recommended by a certified professional?
For optimal performance and warranty coverage, we suggest having a certified professional install your unit.
Can the product operate during a power outage?
Yes, many of our appliances can function without power. Please consult your local dealer for more details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces?
Millivolt fireplaces use electricity from a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source to operate.
Can a Wi-Fi thermostat be used with my unit?
Our units typically rely on millivolt or low voltage systems, which are generally incompatible with most Wi-Fi thermostats that use 24 volts.
How can I find my model and serial number?
Your model and serial number can be found on a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance.
What is the difference between a fireplace, firebox, and insert?
Fireplaces are installed into a framed opening. Fireboxes require a burner and logs for completion while inserts fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces.
How can I determine the age of my unit?
Check the serial number on the rating plate. The first two digits indicate the year of manufacture, and the next two digits show the week it was built.
