FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
It is recommended to have a certified professional install our units. Issues arising from improper installation are not covered under warranty.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, many of our appliances can be used during power outages. Please consult a local dealer for more details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces operate using electricity generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a main power source to operate.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Our units are designed for millivolt or low voltage operation; most Wi-Fi thermostats are incompatible as they typically use 24 volts.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance displays the model and serial number.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
- Fireplaces are installed in framed openings with specific clearance requirements.
- Fireboxes also require installation in openings alongside a burner and log set.
- Inserts are designed to be placed into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The serial number on the rating plate can help determine the age of your unit. The first two digits indicate the year of manufacture, while the next two signify the week of production.
