Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
A certified professional installation is highly recommended for all our units. Warranty coverage does not apply to issues arising from improper installation.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, most appliances can be used during power outages. For more information, please consult a local dealer.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces utilize the electricity from a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source from either house voltage or battery.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Most of our units are designed for millivolt or low voltage operation, making standard Wi-Fi thermostats, which typically use 24 volts, incompatible.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate attached to your appliance's valve will provide the model and serial number information.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are intended for framed installations with clearances for combustibles. Fireboxes need a burner and logs, while inserts are specifically designed to fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
Locate your rating plate; the first two digits of the serial number indicate the manufacturing year, and the following two denote the week it was built.
