Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We recommend hiring a certified professional to install all our units, as improper installation will void the warranty.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, many of our appliances are designed to function during a power outage. Please consult your local dealer for specific information.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces use electricity produced by a standing pilot, whereas electronic ignition fireplaces require power from either house voltage or batteries.
Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit
Most units operate on millivolt or low voltage, making them incompatible with standard Wi-Fi thermostats, which typically use 24 volts.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate attached to your appliance's valve displays the model and serial number information.
What is the difference between a fireplace, firebox, and insert
- Fireplaces are designed for installation in a framed opening, adhering to specific clearances for combustibles.
- Fireboxes, while similar to fireplaces, require a burner and logs to complete the unit.
- Inserts are designed to fit into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture, while the next two digits represent the week of that year when the unit was built.
