Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We suggest hiring a certified professional for installation. Any issues stemming from improper installation will void the warranty.
Does our product work during a power outage
Yes, most of our appliances can be used during power outages. Please consult a local dealer for further assistance.
What is the difference between millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces use electricity generated by a standing pilot to operate, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, including both house voltage and battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Our units operate on millivolt or low voltage. Most Wi-Fi thermostats require 24 volts, making them incompatible with our systems.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The model and serial number can be found on the rating plate attached to the appliance's valve.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
A fireplace is installed in a framed opening with specific clearance requirements. A firebox adds a burner and logs for a complete unit, while an insert fits into an existing wood-burning fireplace that meets construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
To determine the age, locate the rating plate. The first two digits of the serial number indicate the manufacturing year, while the following two represent the week of that year.
