Product FAQs
Can I buy a fireplace online and install it myself
We recommend hiring a certified professional for installation. Issues from improper installation are not covered under warranty.
Does our product work during a power outage
Most of our appliances can be used during power outages, check with your local dealer for more details.
What is the difference between Millivolt and electronic ignition fireplaces
Millivolt fireplaces use electricity generated by a standing pilot, while electronic ignition fireplaces require a power source, which can be either house voltage or battery voltage.
Can I use a Wi-Fi thermostat with my unit
Most of our units operate on millivolts or low voltage, making them incompatible with most Wi-Fi thermostats that use 24 volts.
Where can I find my model and serial number
The rating plate attached to your appliance valve contains the model and serial number.
What is the difference between a fireplace, a firebox, and an insert
Fireplaces are designed for framed openings with specific clearance requirements and fireboxes require burners and logs to complete the unit. Inserts are built for installation into existing wood-burning fireplaces that meet construction standards.
Can you tell me how old my unit is
Locate the rating plate where the first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture, while the next two digits signify the week of that year when the unit was built.
